Saved from Cop / Police Radar Speed Trap Video - Close call
#1
Had a close call a little after midnight (time is wrong on camera) - A cop was set up half way down a mountain in a 35 PSL speed zone (artificially low) - He knows cars are going to be going faster than normal coming down a mountain on top of such a slow speed limit (on a road that should be 50 or so), at night time, plus he was around a bend/turn where by the time you see him it's too late unless you aren't speeding, have a 'feeling' or a good Detector.. in my case it was the later.

The Valentine One Radar detector combined with the Bluetooth audio and YaV1 application warned me in plenty of time (before he was in sight) of the Cop.. I slowed down and all was well.  Here's the 'evil' sneaky Cop in his speed trap:

Hey Chrome, cool video. I had a couple of questions; the guy in front of you seemed to be riding his brake at the very beginning of the video, so was there some visual or auditory clue that there might be a trap (other drivers flashing their lights, etc.)? Also, do you think the V1 is the best detector? I have one and also had a Beltronics 965 that worked great for me, great detection as well but I find the V1's directional alerts incredibly helpful. Thanks!

It's one of the top detectors - however it's not as 'user friendly' out of the box as most -- It can be annoyingly noisy unless you really know what you are doing and most people don't want to spend that kind of time learning.

I would strongly advise obtaining the Max 360 detector - it's literally the best one on the market now,.. and now that the V1 "arrow" patents have expired it has multiple horns in it and the Max 360 now also has directional arrows.  Combine that with digital processing, etc and it wins.

Here's a pic of it,.. and click the pic or link below to check it out:
